Materials and tools needed:

Iron Hair Combs Findings, Platinum

Copper Jewelry Wire, Silver Color Plated, 0.3mm

Glass Round Bead Strands, Clear, 4mm

304 Stainless Steel Spacer Beads, Round, 4x3mm

Glass Beads Strands, Faceted, Round, Blue, 6mm

Baking Painted Pearlized Glass Pearl Round Bead Strands, Aquamarine, 4~5mm

Brass Ball Head Pins, Silver Color Plated, 30x0.5mm, 24 Gauge

Iron Cable Chains, Platinum, 3x2x0.6mm

Iron Open Jump Rings, Nickel Free, Platinum, 21 Gauge, 5x0.7mm

Tools

Needle Nose Pliers

Round Nose Pliers

Side Cutting Pliers

Instructions on how to make the hair comb:

Step 1:

1st, Prepare a piece of 0.3mm copper wire and thread a clear glass bead in the middle of the copper wire, place the bead in the middle of the comb, then wrap some loops to fix the bead. (as shown in the picture)

2nd, Continue to fix clear glass beads and silver spacer beads on the comb. (as shown in the picture)

Step 2:

1st, For the second layer, blue glass beads and glass pearl beads are chosen. Just use the same winding technique to secure them to the comb in turn. Then cut off the excess wire. (as shown in the picture)

2nd, Use a ball head pin through a blue glass bead and a small spacer bead to make a bead charm.

3rd, Use a piece of chain and a jump ring to hang the bead charm on the hair comb. (as shown in the picture)

The beautiful crystal beaded hair comb is done!

Not so difficult to make, right? There’s no professional wire wrapping skills in this tutorial, you can freely wrap the wires in any way you like. So I strongly suggest you to have a try. You can choose other colors you liked to DIY a similar hair comb.
